WPL 2025: Eliminator, MUM-W vs. GJ-W Match Prediction: Could MI-W vs. GG-W win today’s WPL match?

MUM-W vs. GJ-W Match Prediction

The victor will face the Delhi Capitals on March 15 in the WPL 2025 final.

On Thursday, March 13, the Mumbai Indians Women (MUM-W) and Gujarat Giants Women (GJ-W) will play each other in the Women’s Premier League 2025 Eliminator at Mumbai’s Brabourne Stadium. It is noteworthy that these two teams had already played each other twice in the league stages, with Mumbai winning both times.

The team captained by Harmanpreet Kaur finished second in the standings after winning five of their eight group games. But they lost by just 11 runs when pursuing 200 runs in their most recent league match against the reigning champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women.

However, the team from Gujarat was able to make it to the playoffs for the first time in three years. With four league victories under Ashleigh Gardner’s direction, the squad ultimately placed third in the standings. Since the competition began in 2023, Gujarat has only ever triumphed in one match versus Mumbai. In the upcoming game, though, they hope to push the paddle a little more.

Pitch Report

Mumbai’s Brabourne Stadium is perfect for scoring runs in games since it has a steady bounce and a strong speed that encourages high-hitting games. The surface will probably favor the batsmen, but as the game goes on, it may turn out to be advantageous for the bowlers. Batting first will be chosen by the team that wins the toss.
